I felt the rain,
Late tonight,
Against my pane,
So I thought I might,
Take a chance,
In the wee wee hours,
When neighbours slept,
And enjoy the showers,
So out I crept,
With a dark porchlight,
Into the rain,
And it felt so right,
To stand there naked.
Oh my god, did you really do that? Good thing no one saw you. 🙂
Haha, I did, and I suppose it is. They would have perhaps been startled, or amused, or both. 😉
Smooth flow of inviting words. If only to be the rain. 🙂
Mmmm,
To be the rain, the steady mist, that envelops you and leaves you kissed by water, kissed by natures drops, a wet embrace that never stops, that never fails to leave you feeling both alive and breathless.
I am with you my friend. Naked in the rain is wonderful as it your poem.
Melanie
Thanks! It is a wonderful feeling!
Wooohoooo! Yea! How great it is! Dancing naked in a midnight rain! Love this! Thanks for the smile lol!
It helps if the rain is on the warmer side. 😉
Been there, done that. Long time ago. Wouldn’t be amusing these days. DOH!

🙂
Happy Rally.
It was great fun!
Ah, then the lightning strikes and all the night is lit up bright for all the neighbors to see! But then maybe they would join in. Delightful poem.
I live in a small suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. They just might. 😉
Written perfectly. I really enjoyed it.

Yeah, I guess I wouldn’t want to do it in acid rain, haha. So far it’s pretty safe here in the suburbs of Stockholm though. Thanks for the comments!
That is so great dancing naked in the midnight rain. I have an outdoor bathroom and shower under the moon and stars. Know the feeling on this one great poem. Love your blog so much

Ohhh, I had the luxury of an outdoor shower on the west coast of Sweden for a while. It was absolutely magical!
love it, it made a fantastic treat.
Thanks, that’s what it felt like. 😉
Oh my! The spirit of freedom never sleeps. Well done!
Fun and freedom FTW!
Very nice! I like dancing in the rain, not quite brave enough to do it naked though.
It’s wonderful! It’s raining now, it’s only 8pm here though, so I may have to wait a bit, haha. 😉
