They tell me not to bite my nails,
It’s dirty and should not be done,
When I do – it never fails,
There always appears someone,
Who never hesitates to sneer,
“Don’ do that, and don’t do it here!”
I fear, just to avoid assails,
I may just stop biting my nails,
Soon as I even out this one………..

Random Misanthrope 
I’ve bitten my nails since I was a very tiny child. I guess you could say I’m a recovered nail biter since I don’t believe the urge to do it will ever truly go away. That’s why I keep my nails beautifully manicured all the time. My naked nails are too tempting for me.
Hmmm….maybe I should get manicures?
