Foreign Shores

Soon leaving this foreign shore,
To take off for a foreign shore,
Thing is I’m not really sure,
Which one’s foreign anymore.

  1. I know how exactly you feel, though I still refer to the good ole US as “home” and probably always will…

  2. Toronto, Canada will always be the place I came from, the place that shaped me. As years go by however it feels less and less like home. I feel a bit like an hour glass with the sands of Canada shifting over to the sands of Sweden. I have now spent a fifth of my life in Sweden. I moved a week before my 40th birthday, so it’s pretty easy to measure.

Words, words, glorious words! Give me all of your words!
