I know how exactly you feel, though I still refer to the good ole US as “home” and probably always will…
Toronto, Canada will always be the place I came from, the place that shaped me. As years go by however it feels less and less like home. I feel a bit like an hour glass with the sands of Canada shifting over to the sands of Sweden. I have now spent a fifth of my life in Sweden. I moved a week before my 40th birthday, so it’s pretty easy to measure.
