Rain does not always dissapoint, but I understand and I agree; it should be sunny.
No kidding! Especially when the forecast calls for full sun. I’ve had a friend ask me if I’m okay because this poem seems so sad. Of course it can be taken anyway you like, but I really only meant to express my disappointment in the inaccurate forecast. I’m actually in very good spirits. Thanks for reading!

I know this feeling yesterday it looked beautiful, a reprieve from the rain I took my daughter out for a walk and out of no where the rain!

This is a great Haiku. I love that you respect the conventions and embed the reference to nature – so many people think a Haiku is just 5-7-5 syllables of any combination, when a true Haiku calls for natural imagery. I enjoyed the final line so much – unexpected and so right for the moment described!
