Migraines…they make me write bad poetry…

Migraine, migraine,
Feels like a bullet train,
Running through my head.
Wishing I were dead,
That’s only way I see,
The only possibility,
Of killing all the pain,
From this horrible migraine.
I’m not really suicidal,
But this bad poetry recital,
I simply can’t defend it.
It may cause some of you to end it.

  1. I haven’t had a migraine but I had a spinal headache for 4 days after a spinal tap I couldn’t do anything at all and I’ve always imagined that what a migraine is like. Best wishes for a swift recovery =)

  2. Ooh…a spinal headache. That sounds really awful. A migraine is caused by a spasm of blood vessels in the brain so normal OTC painkillers don’t have any effect. One feels exhausted, nauseous, and very sensitive to light. All this is in addition to the pounding throbbing headache that usually occupies one side of one’s head. The only real cure for a migraine is to lie down in quiet dark room and sleep it off. I get them pretty much every month around the time I get my monthly visitor.

    Thanks for the support!
