DANGLING SHOES
Pristine pairs of shoes,
Hanging from wires and trees,
Couplets of separate meaning,
Swinging in the breeze,
One thinks of people struggling,
With life’s necessities,
And ponders over affluence,
First world luxuries.
A universal phenomenon.
The thing that bugged me is they looked pretty much new. Seems such a waste.
That is a foul. They need to be well worn. Any city chicken worth his/her salt knows this. :melodramatic eyeroll:
